About this experience

There's nothing quite like the thrill of a safari game drive. Seated in an open-roof 4x4 Land Cruiser with an experienced guide, you'll track lions through the golden grass, watch elephants at watering holes, and witness cheetahs in full sprint.

Our game drives are led by passionate, knowledgeable guides who grew up in Tanzania's wildlife regions. They know where the animals are, they understand their behaviour, and they'll share stories and insights that bring the bush to life.

What you'll experience

Our guides are born and raised in Tanzania's wildlife regions — Serengeti, Manyara, Tarangire. Fluent in English (many also speak German, French, or Italian), Tanzania Tourist Board licensed, and averaging 10+ years of guiding. They know where the animals are, and why.
Every safari uses fully-equipped Toyota Land Cruiser 4x4s with pop-top roofs for 360° views, charging ports, cool boxes with cold drinks, reference books, and binoculars. Maximum 6 seats per vehicle — everyone gets a window.
Lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino — the classic Big Five are best spotted across Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Ruaha, and Nyerere. Ngorongoro Crater is the only place in Tanzania where you can realistically see all five in a single day.
Early game drives (6:30 am) catch the peak predator hours — hunts, cubs, and kills happen at cool temperatures. Late-afternoon drives bring golden light and animals returning to water. Some private concessions allow night drives with red-filter spotlights.
Full-day game drives include a picnic lunch enjoyed under an acacia tree or at a river viewpoint. Chilled boxes packed by lodge chefs contain fresh salads, sandwiches, wraps, fruit, drinks, and dessert — dietary needs (vegan, gluten-free, halal) always accommodated.
